We're finally getting out and enjoying summer. Last summer Annelise was so small we didn't get to do a lot of beach type activities, but I think this summer we'll make up for it. There's a "fake lake" (aka - man made lake) nearby that we went to yesterday and had a blast. We met our friends Alex and Ivy and their mommy's Dawn and Melissa there. The kids had a great time playing in the water and getting buried in the sand. (For those of you that are "frequent flyers" at Dawn and Melissa's blog's, you could maybe skip this one.)

She had a good time and even tried to mix it up with the "big kids."
Needless to say we will be back to this beach again. Thank you friends for a great day in the sun.
