Yes, you read the title right, FIRST haircut. She's almost 3 1/2 and could never bring myself to get her haircut until now. Up until 1 yr old she really didn't even have hair.
Here she is at 14 months, asking "Where's my hair?"
It's been getting long and wispy so I figured it was time. We drove to Kid's Hair where they have TV's for the kids to watch while the get their haircut. Of course Skylar chose D-D-D-D-Dora the Explorer! Here she is strapped in the chair, already watching the TV.

For a first-time haircut she did very well. The only trouble the stylist had was trying to get her to keep her head in the right position and not watch the television! Annelise was there too, she waited patiently in her stroller. Unlike her sister however, she has hair and will most likely need a haircut by her second birthday. We'll see. Bangs are already getting a little long.
Here Skylar is all done and calmly getting her hair dried. Which floored me because at home she is terrified of the dryer. (Still watching Dora. It was "Little Star" for those all too familiar with the episodes.)
And this is the 'After' picture. Looks a little bit like the 'Before' picture. It's a little shorter on the sides but you can really tell in the back. (Still think she's trying to watch Dora.)
